I enjoyed the location of Selina Porto, which is close to many bars and restaurants. however, the noise level was consistently disruptive, making it hard to relax and sleep. While the facilities had some appealing aspects, I encountered issues with cleanliness that detracted from my overall experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in faced the party scene outside, and I found it difficult to get a good night's sleep because of the noise and dampness. Plus, not all the rooms were adequately cleaned or maintained, which was disappointing.
Service
5.0
The staff seemed overwhelmed and not particularly welcoming. it took quite a while to check in, and I felt as though they weren't fully attentive to the guests' needs.
Location
8.0
Selina Porto has a fantastic location. just a short walk to major shopping areas and right next to vibrant hipster bars, which was definitely a positive.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast options were a bit underwhelming for the price. while they were available, the quality didn’t seem worth the cost, especially considering the simplicity of what was offered.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included some interesting spots like a loft library and yoga classes. yet, some areas felt neglected, such as the kitchen, which was often messy.

7.4/10

My stay at Selina Porto was a mixed experience. On one hand, the welcoming staff made me feel at home, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. However, the noise from the common areas was disruptive, particularly at night, impacting my relaxation. Overall, it's a vibrant place but may not suit everyone’s need for quiet.

Rooms
7.0
I found my room spacious and comfortable, though the floor-to-ceiling windows meant a lack of privacy unless I shut the curtains. While it was clean, I noticed hair and dust upon arrival, which was disappointing.
Service
9.0
The staff were truly the highlight of my visit. Always friendly and ready to help, they even assisted me in booking a riverboat cruise. Their willingness to provide information about the city was much appreciated.
Location
9.0
Selina Porto's location is fantastic. It's a short walk from the Ribeira and close to many cozy cafes and restaurants, making it easy to explore the city's attractions.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were limited and didn’t feel worth the price. I expected more variety or richness for what I paid, especially given the experience I had at another Selina location.
Facilities
6.0
While Selina offers a vibrant atmosphere with a bar and central patio for relaxation, I felt the facilities could be improved. For example, I noticed there was only one shower per area, leading to longer waits.

My stay at Selina Porto had its highs and lows. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city and close to many attractions. However, the dorm room I stayed in felt a bit cluttered and was less organized than I'd hoped, which made for a less than pleasant experience. Overall, I found the facilities enjoyable but not without some drawbacks.

Rooms
7.0
I stayed in a large dorm, but it was not well organized. The bottom bunk left me with shoes right beside my face. The showers didn't provide toiletries, which was unexpected.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, which made my arrival smooth. However, there were some inconsistencies in the cleanliness of the rooms.
Location
10.0
The location is great. I could easily walk to the river and explore many must-visit spots in the area.
Dining
6.0
The food offered at the hotel was quite pricey compared to nearby options. While I enjoyed the common dining area, I found better meals outside of Selina.
Facilities
6.0
The outdoor areas were lovely for relaxing and meeting people. Unfortunately, there were issues like the lack of a laundry machine.

My stay at Selina Porto had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the area. However, the noise level from the communal area made it hard to enjoy my room, which was a bit cramped and humid. While the staff was friendly, some of the amenities and services left much to be desired.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms I stayed in were clean enough, but they felt quite stuffy with a lack of ventilation. I also noticed some mold in the showers, which was off-putting. Plus, privacy curtains were a nice touch.
Service
6.0
I found the staff to be friendly, though they seemed a bit overwhelmed and not always helpful, particularly when it came to addressing the noise complaints.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect, right in the center of Porto and close to many must-visit places, which made my daily adventures easy and enjoyable.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast options were disappointing for the price, as the quality of the food did not match what I expected. The coffee was cold and the offerings were limited.
Facilities
5.0
The hostel had a number of amenities, but I felt that the communal kitchen was often dirty, and the large inner garden that was supposed to be for lounging was more like a restaurant where we couldn't just relax without ordering food.

6.8/10

My stay at Selina Porto was a mixed bag. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the old town, making it easy to explore the city. However, I found the cleaning standards were lacking, especially in the common areas and my bathroom. The atmosphere was friendly, with staff eager to help, but some amenities, like the laundry service and kitchen cleanliness, didn't meet my expectations.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm, which was mostly clean but felt humid. Curtains and ceilings could have used better upkeep as they seemed a bit dirty. Beds were comfortable, though.
Service
7.0
The staff were nice and helpful whenever I needed assistance, creating a welcoming vibe around the courtyard area. Despite some issues, they maintained a friendly attitude.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect, close to various food spots and the river, which made it easy to explore Porto. The outdoor area had a nice bar where the atmosphere became lively at times.
Dining
5.0
While the breakfast options were varied, I found them overpriced and not particularly satisfying. It would have been better if the offerings were more competitively priced for what was provided.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities included a restaurant and bar, but I found the common kitchen quite dirty during my visits. The welcome drink was served only at a fixed time, which was a bit restrictive.
